Mountain Bike Routes
Trails We Ride, Maintain, and Know by Heart
Want singletrack variety in Southern New Mexico? You've come to the right place. Start at our front door and ride the chunky Boston Hill Trails, or spin south down Bullard Ave for mellower trails along San Vicente Creek. Fort Bayard's grasslands make for mellow, fast cruising. Little Walnut mixes it up through oak and piñon forest just north, interspersed blue runs. And up in the Pinos Altos high country, the climbing gets real — ponderosa ridges, wet canyons, and cooler air once summer hits.

Fort Bayard Trails
Mellow loops, petroglyphs, big cottonwoods, health grasslands, and fun descents near the trailheads. Go further North, and grind out tougher routes deep into elk-and-bear country — you likely won't see another soul.

Little Walnut Trails
Signage gets confusing out here, real talk — but the trees are fantastic and the CDT singletrack goes forever. Get yourself out west toward Bear Mountain and LS Mesa for wild vibes, or loop a longer loop to the east for some hard climbing.

Downtown Trails
Boston Hill's one of the first trail systems to dry out after a storm — five trailheads, old mining-district terrain, big views of town. Or slip into San Vicente Creek downstream from our shop for mellower trails and loads of shade.

Pinos Altos Range High Country
Cooler temps and higher altitude 30 minutes from downtown. No one said these trails were easy, and we won't either.
